One last drink...

So last night, at Ms. BBT's insistance, the 3 of us gathered at 4754 for one last drink together. Ok, so I had 2 beers but who's counting. She (4754) was looking good after her run in with Merry Maids. They did a good job really, except for 'stealing' Tamara's kitchen clock. I mean, they even made Tommy's bathroom look respectable.

Today is the official last day of our lease. You know it's getting really close to the end when the only thing that I took home from the house last night was my beloved JLo poster. There's just nothing left unless I want to start stealing Tommy's clothes.

Sniff, sniff, sad day.

Ah, but before I end this on a sad note, a little something to make y'all smile. Last night, at about the time that we were gathering, it was pouring. I mean pouring. I even waited in my cars for about 5 minutes before running in (prolly cuz Tamara, who was inside, kept on screaming at me that it was only water). When I finally came in, I took a walk around to check out how the maids had done, and sure enough, the basement was flooding :) Hahaha. I can just hear Vera (bless her heart) telling us about the sum pump.

So much stuff!!!

Here's some random stuff I saw/found/threw out at the house tonight:

1) Box full of MicroStrategy 5.6 manuals
2) Bobby Brown cd
3) Post card that Tera sent Kazu and I (to 800 S. 18th St.) from Hong Kong BEFORE we moved in to 4754!
4) That bottle of cold Sake that's been in the back of our fridge forever (I took it Kazu dont' worry, gotta practice for Tokyo)
5) Tamara's car cd changer that she never installed
6) Tommy's full set of knives and pots and pans (who would have known?)

That's all I can remember right now, but man was there a lot of stuff in that house.

Kazu, I know you're salty about the coffee table. But it must make you feel better that instead of getting sold at the yard sale, people sat around it and drank on it all night at the party. It's only right. By the way, that was hot when you called me during the party.

Ok, I'm gonna go mess around on the computer some more. Laters. Before I go though, here's a pretty good picture from the party that Big Danny took. One of the few Mexicans to represent that night:

Fools!

Oh boy, ok it's time for a new post cuz yall are either drunk, or went to a public school!

I did it by following the Blogger link to the dashboard, and from there there's a link to make a new post. When you're in the editor it should be pretty obvious how to add a picture.

To make this interesting, I'll try to add a link to my Ofoto pics. Haven't had time to do much with it besides just put them up.

These links are always flaky so we'll see if it works...

J$

Haha, can we post bets on whether Jeanette is gonna figure out how this works???

SMRT!

Does this work? Check out this horn I just bought on ebay!

Okay. Time to crash. Goodnight!

EDIT:

So recently (the last week or so), I've been completely HOOKED on looking for vintage horns. I know this may interest NONE of you. Anyway, I'm also close to buying this horn. It's a flugel horn, made by Couesnon, a French company. The factory burned down in 1969, and they haven't been the same since. This one is circa 60's. All the records were lost during the fire, apparently, so it's impossible to track the exact year. Anyway, this is a much sought after horn and played by many professional jazz musicians.

Pictures

I know this is going to start something I probably don't want to get into... but here goes. Here is one of my favorite pictures of Fabian - it comes up every time he calls - isn't he cute? :) Now I just have to get one with the wife beater for a true 4754 representation...

and here is Tommy - IN the psuedo wife beater! (Damn I'm good with that camera phone!)

Ok, Tamara, since you started it, let me add this absolutely classic picture of T from my 31st bday celebration.

And actually, this one isn't bad either... Heehee :P

But I feel like we're leaving Kazu out, so I'll add this classic...

Oh boy, this could get ugly!

Ok - how about this hot picture of Fabian:

Let's do this!

Ok, so as one of the original 4754ers, and also one of the last I think it's only fitting that I get this party started. So pony up biatches, and let's start blogging!

As you should all know, our beloved 4754 is coming to the end of its days as we know it. Yes, yes, it's very sad but true. We did it right though, and sent her away the only way we know how. With a kegger of course (double kegger actually). I'll even grace you with some lovely pictures.

Here she is in all her glory.

And as we always like to do, here's a few pre-party shots:

And this was a very nice touch from Tommy, nice work TO.

You may not be able to read what she's saying, but basically, SHE WANTS ME!!! Duh.

I have a few more shots, but I think I'll just add a link to my Ofoto album later on.

The party was quite a success. We got our drink on, we got our dance on (and yes there was a dance off, holla!!!) , and TO passed out who knows where in our neighborhood.

There's so much more to write, but it's 1:30am and my ass has to go to sleep. If you're wondering why am up so late, it's cuz I just made me $40 playing some poker with Chris Straub and the gang. Not too shabby for a rookie.

Alright, I'm out.

4754 in the house!
