Spicy beef!!!

Tamara and I went to Peking Village for dinner on Monday and this is just classic...

That's right baby, Spicy Beef Casserole! The waitress gave us this look when we ordered and said, "really spicy!". I just smiled and said "I know".

Castor dinner anyone?

Oh yeah, right after I took that picture, I demolished those leftovers.

TINA Stage 2

Alright, it's my turn. I know I've been slacking on the bulogu, but that's probably because my life has been uneventful as of late.

Anyway, as you all know, my favorite bar, TINA, burned down last November. Well, I'm happy to announce that TINA is re-opening! Not in the same place, but still in Meguro, just up the street from it's original location.

So today, Tsukasa, a few other regulars, and I, gutted out an old restaurant completely. We tore everything out of what used to be a yakitori (skewered chicken) shop, in order to get ready to rebuild TINA. It was about 6 hours of hard, dirty work, but I was glad to be able to take part.

Fabian, you remember where we went to eat cow parts right? Well, TINA is in the same location, towards the back (near the bathroom).

There going to re-open sometime late this month, or early next month. My drinking expenses are about to go up once again....

Scruffy

Ok, so you guys are being no fun with your lack of updates to the bulogu. As today is Friday (and what a lovely day that is) I thought I'd send you all a little picture to lighten your day. I call this one, well, scruffy of course :) And it was taken on my snazzy new cell phone which is dope.
